“Maybe Christmas doesn’t come from a store… maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.” 💚🎄
Last Thursday our amazing 2nd graders brought How the Grinch Stole Christmas to life through readers theater for their families in each classroom! They worked so hard practicing their reading, expression, and teamwork—and it truly showed. We’re so proud of their confidence, growth, and holiday spirit. What a joyful way to share the magic of reading! ✨#KingLions #Team2ndGrade

The results?
Let’s just say… these turkeys don’t stand a chance. 😄

Mrs. Morrells 4th grade class completed a Mind Up service project they called the Teacher Treat Cart. They went around to all the teachers and staff today and it was such a fun treat to have! This service project helps kids realize the “mind boost” they get from giving service to others. Each 4th grade class chose and executed their own project from the Mind Up program. #Team4thGrade #KingLions

One of our 4th graders from Mrs. Morrell's represented our school at the district Martin Luther King Jr. speech contest. We also had some students who entered the Reflections contest and they had their ceremony today. #KingLions #LionPride
